Dark Matter Simulation
Dark matter is one of the most mysterious puzzles stumping even the smartest of scientist in the world.

Dark matter is a type of matter hypothesized in astronomy and cosmology. It is thought to account for a large part of the total mass contained in the universe. It does not emit nor absorb light or other electromagnetic radiation so it can not be seen directly with a telescope.

It is estimated that dark matter makes up 84% of the matter in the universe and 23% of the energy density with the rest almost being made up of dark energy.

How can scientist know dark matter is out there if it can not be seen? Astronomers know dark matter exist due to its gravitational effects on surrounding objects.
Dark Matter was originally hypothesized to account for discrepancies between calculations of the mass of galaxies, clusters of galaxies and the entire universe made through dynamical and general relativistic means, and calculations based on the mass of the visible "luminous" matter these objects contain: stars and the gas and dust of the interstellar and intergalactic medium.

Several alternative theories have been proposed to try to explain the anomalies for which dark matter is intended to account.Like the idea of vibrating strings causing the anomalies or another dimension hovering above ours
